Hannah Angelini enters her second season as an Assistant Coach for the Lady Royals in 2025-26.
In her first year on the coaching staff in 2024-25, Angelini helped lead the Lady Royals to a 29-2 record and their 10th consecutive Landmark Conference championship with a dominating 85-62 win over Catholic in the title game. Scranton advanced to the NCAA Tournament and reached the Elite Eight before falling in a tightly contested matchup against Wisconsin-Stout. Junior
Kaci Kranson was named a Second Team All-American, earned Landmark Conference Player of the Year honors and was one of three Lady Royals to receive All-Conference recognition.
A five-year member of the program, Angelini played in 109 career games and made 77 starts, averaging 5.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.0 steals per game. She routinely guarded the opposition’s top scorer and served as a presence on the defensive end of the floor.
The Baldwin Place, N.Y., native was selected as a team captain in each of the last two seasons and earned All-Landmark Conference Second Team honors in 2021.
Angelini helped guide Scranton to five Landmark championships and four NCAA Tournament appearances including an Elite Eight appearance in 2023-24 and a Sweet 16 run in 2021-22. The Lady Royals posted a staggering 114-12 record during her career for a winning percentage of .905, which makes Angelini the winningest player in program history.
Scranton has also gone 62-5 (.925) in Landmark Conference games over the past five seasons and posted unbeaten Landmark regular seasons in both 2021-22 and 2022-23.
In the classroom, Angelini earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology in 2023 and was named to the Dean’s List in all eight semesters. She has garnered CSC Academic All-District honors in each of the last two years and is a three-time Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll selection.
Angelini is currently pursuing her MBA at The University.
