Biography

  • Earned three letters in his career at Scranton, winning 14 matches over three seasons

Senior Year (2019-20)

  • Had his best season in his final campaign with the Royals, winning 10 bouts, seven of which in dual matches
  • Posted two victories by pinfall and another by major decision
  • Had the fastest win via pinfall in his career on Nov. 2 vs. Justin Chaudhary of Penn State Behrend, taking the bout in 27 seconds

Junior Year (2018-19)

  • Posted two wins while wrestling at three different weight classes.
  • Posted an 8-4 decision over Quinn Hogue of Elizabethtown on Jan. 8 and had a sudden victory, 12-10 decision over Oneonta's Chris Coyle on Jan. 12.

Sophomore Year (2017-18)

  • Competed in four events at 174 pounds, posting one victory, which was by pin.

High School/Personal

  • Was a two-year varsity starter at 195 pounds for Ridgewood.
  • Helped the team win the district championship in all four years of his high school career. Ridgewood was a combined 36-10 in those four years.
  • Had a varsity dual career record of 41-5 and an overall varsity career record of 56-18. Finished his career with 18 pins and had 30 wins and 215 team points as a senior.
  • Was a Bergen County placer at 195 pounds twice, a District runner-up at 195 pounds twice, and placed at the Mt. Olive Tournament twice.
  • Earned all-division second-team honors and all-county honorable mention honors in 2015 and 2016.
  • Received the Ross Award for dedication to the sport of wrestling and the Thomas P. Loonie wrestling scholarship.
