Andrew Hauk joined The University of Scranton Athletic Department as Assistant Athletic Director for Development in September 2026. He brings over a decade of experience in collegiate athletics, with a background in program management, fundraising, and alumni engagement.
Hauk most recently served as Head Men's Lacrosse Coach at Misericordia University from 2022 to 2026. He managed all aspects of the program, including budgeting, recruiting, fundraising, and facility improvements. During his time there, the team qualified for the MAC Freedom Conference Playoffs three times and posted a cumulative team GPA above 3.3 every year. He also launched the program's first Career Development Blueprint, connecting student-athletes with alumni mentors and career resources.
Before Misericordia, Hauk was Head Men's Lacrosse Coach at SUNY Plattsburgh State from 2020 to 2022, where he brought in 25 new recruiting commitments and started the program's first Alumni Networking Program.
Hauk previously spent three years at The University of Scranton as Head Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach from 2017 to 2020, helping the team to a 22-19 record and two straight conference playoff appearances. He also coached at Western Connecticut State University and SUNY Plattsburgh earlier in his career, where he focused on recruiting and player development.
Hauk holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from SUNY Plattsburgh. As a student-athlete, he was a starting goalie and helped lead his team to the 2014 SUNYAC Championship game.
