Cutright enters his first season as the head coach of the men's and women's track & field programs in 2023-24.
No stranger to the Landmark Conference, Cutright comes to Scranton following a long and successful tenure at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pa., where he spent 29 seasons as the head track & field coach and 30 seasons as the head men's and women's cross country coach.
During his time at Juniata, Cutright helped mentor a total of 116 conference champions (41 indoor, 75 outdoor) and 16 NCAA qualifiers including seven that went on to earn All-American honors. The Eagles registered a total of 11 top-three finishes at the Landmark Indoor and Outdoor Championships on the men's side and nine on the women's side since the inception of the conference in 2007-08.
Cutright is a three-time Landmark Conference Coach of the Year, winning the award in 2009 (Outdoor Women), 2011 (Indoor Women and 2017 (Outdoor Men) and has seen a total of 15 student-athletes earn major Landmark awards.
Cutright also served a four-year term on the NCAA Division III Track & Field committee and was the chair of the committee for the 2008-09 season.
In cross country, Cutright had a total of 70 student-athletes garner All-Conference accolades and 13 earn All-Region recognition.
A 1992 graduate of Ohio University, Cutright received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration and then went on to earn his master's a year later in Athletic Administration.
