University of Scranton

Paul Sweeney joined The University of Scranton Athletic Training Staff in August 2019. He is a staff certified athletic trainer for the Geisinger Health System and provides athletic training services for all 23 NCAA varsity intercollegiate athletic teams at The University of Scranton.

He joined the Royals after spending the last ten years at Hazleton Area High School from 2009-2019. Prior to joining the Geisinger Health System, he worked at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London, Connecticut where he provided athletic training services to the University of Connecticut-Avery Point and Old Lyme High School.

Paul is a 2007 graduate of King’s College where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training.
