University of Scranton

In his role at Scranton, Rinella serves as the primary contact for baseball, field hockey, softball, volleyball, women's lacrosse and women's basketball. He also oversees the department's broadcasting and photography efforts while assisting in all aspects of the department's communications and publicity efforts for the University's 23 intercollegiate sports. 

Rinella graduated from The University of Scranton in 2025 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and a minor in Sports Communication. During his time as a student, he spent two years as a sports information intern where he gained valuable experience calling play-by-play for numerous sports, working as a photographer, and assisting with a wide range of day-to-day communications responsibilities within the department.
