READING, Pa.—The University of Scranton field hockey team
dropped its second straight games and fell to 2-3 on the season
with a 3-1 loss to Albright College in non-conference action
Saturday afternoon.
After a scoreless first half, the Lions took command by scoring
three consecutive goals within a 19-minute span to improve to 5-1
on the year. Albright out-shot Scranton, 11-7, and enjoyed a
13-1 advantage in penalty corners in the second half.
Senior midfielder Kaitlyn Pietrusewicz (Fleetwood, Pa./Brandywine
Height) led Albright with a goal and an assist and junior forward
Alyssa Tourdot (Blue Bell, Pa./Wissahickon) and sophomore
midfielder Allison Dombrowski (Malvern, Pa./The Shipley School)
tallied a goal apiece.

Child) scored her first goal of her career, unassisted, in
the 59th minute. Sophomore goalkeeper Krista
Mundy (North Caldwell, NJ/West Essex) made her second
straight of the season and finished with six saves. Her
