The men's soccer team, which is 6-1-3 and 1-1 in Landmark Conference play, is ranked fifth in the Mid-Atlantic Region after defeating Goucher, 2-1, in double overtime on Saturday, Oct. 5. Senior midfielder Bill McGuiness (Forty Fort, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) added a second-half goal in the victory.

The men, who moved up two spots from seventh last week, are in action today at 4 p.m. when they visit Elmira College.

The women's team, which has won nine straight, made its debut in the Mid-Atlantic Region rankings at No. 10 this week. The Royals (9-2, 2-0 Landmark) are coming off a 5-0 win over Goucher College on Saturday, Oct. 5.
