HAVERFORD, Pa. - For the second straight match, The University of Scranton volleyball team went the distance with an opponent, but this time, Scranton came up just short, as Eastern (Pa.) upended the Royals, 3-2, Friday night at the Fords Invitational hosted by Haverford.

With the defeat, Scranton dropped their first game of the season to move to 5-1 overall. Eastern improved to 6-1 on the year with the victory.

The University of Scranton volleyball team looks to bounce back tomorrow, as they take on two opponents at the Fords Invitational.

First, Scranton takes on SUNY Geneseo at 10 AM, then immediately after that match at 12 PM, the Royals take on the hosts Haverford to conclude the weekend.
