Sophomores
Logan Campbell (Chalfont, Pa. / Central Bucks South) and
Charlie Smith (Devon, Pa. / Conestoga) of The University of Scranton men's soccer team were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.
Academic All-District recognizes student-athletes for their performance both on the field and in the classroom.
Both student-athletes will now automatically advance to the Academic All-American ballot.
Campbell started all 17 games at center back for the Royals and earned Second Team All-Landmark Conference honors. He recorded five points on two goals and one assist on the season. The Chalfont, PA native is a business analytics major and has a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Smith started all 14 games that he appeared in in goal for Scranton and ranked atop the conference in GAA at .786. He is an economics major and boasts a 3.64 GPA.
