Three members of The University of Scranton men's soccer team earned All-Landmark honors as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.
Sophomore defender Logan Campbell (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South)Â and junior forward Ciaran Corr (Newtown Square, Pa./Marple Newtown)Â were both named as Second Team selections, while senior midfielder Patrick Walls Kelly (Devon, Pa./Conestoga)Â garnered Honorable Mention accolades.
This marks the second consecutive Second Team selection for Corr and the first of the career for both Campbell and Kelly.
Campbell started all 17 games on defense for a team that conceded the fewest goals in the Landmark Conference with 15 and ranked second in goals against average (0.88). The Chalfont, Pa., native also scored consecutive game-winners in victories over Misericordia (Sept. 12) and William Paterson (Sept. 16) and added an assist on the year.
For Corr, the Newtown Square, Pa., native ranked tied for fifth in the conference with seven goals and tied for eighth in points with 15. He scored a pair of goals just 0:24 apart at Wilkes on Oct. 10 and then tallied a goal and an assist on Oct. 21 versus Susquehanna.
Kelly started all 16 games that he appeared in as a midfielder for the Royals and recorded four points on one goal and two assists. The senior captain scored a game-winning goal in a 1-0 Landmark victory over Drew on Oct. 17 and assisted on both of Corr's goals against Wilkes.
