SALISBURY, MD -- The University of Scranton women's volleyball team lost to Christopher Newport University (3-1) and host Salisbury University (3-0) on Saturday afternoon.
Game 1 vs. Christopher Newport
The Basics

How it Happened
- The Royals lost their first game of the day 3-1, despite a third set victory that kept them alive. Christopher Newport won the first set 25-23 and second set 25-21. Scranton came back to win the third set 25-21. CNU closed out the match in the fourth set, 25-16.

- Freshman Danielle Kramer finished with six blocks to lead the game.
- Senior Erin Keaveney recorded a game-high 14 kills, tying with Christopher Newport's Alyssa Dozier.
