HOBOKEN, NJ -- The University of Scranton men's basketball team dropped its first road contest of the season at Stevens Institute of Technology on Saturday night, 83-55.

How it Happened
- Senior Will McLoughlin opened the game with a block in the paint.
- McLoughlin grabbed a defensive rebound and found junior Jon Spatola for a fast break layup.
- Sophomore P.J. Kellachan grabbed his own miss and fed freshman Will Marion to bring the Royals within one with 14 minutes remaining in the half.Â
- Senior Cameron Khoza connected from three 13 minutes into the game with the Royals down by six.
- Marion added a three-pointer at 5:07, and on the next possession Spatola stole the ball and found senior Tahaj Parland who drained a jumper in the paint.Â
- The Ducks went on a 10-point run to end the half leading the Royals 40-25.Â
- Khoza drained a three to open the second half, and McLoughlin was sent to the line and converted both free throws to bring the Royals within 12.Â
- Stevens began an 18-point campaign to gain a 30 point lead.Â
- At 7:27, freshman Sammy Tornabene grabbed his own rebound and finished through contact to earn the basket and the extra point at the stripe.Â
- Freshman Kylon Brown added a three to chip away at the Ducks lead, 71-45.
- Junior Teddy Spratt took the ball the length of the court to finish the and-1 layup and made the extra point with 3:04 remaining.
