Elizabeth Bennett scored a career-high 17 points to pace The University of Scranton women's basketball team in a 77-48 win over Colby College to close out the Daytona Beach Shootout on Monday.

How it Happened
- Colby held a 12-8 advantage after the opening period and increased its lead to six points with a pair of free throws to begin the second quarter.
- The Lady Royals closed out the first half with an 11-2 run, including seven points from Bennett, to take a 31-22 lead into halftime.Â
- Scranton held Colby scoreless for the first 11 minutes of the third period and out scored the Mules by 23 points in the quarter to go up 59-27.
- The Lady Royals went on to win by a final score of 77-48.Â

- Bennett went 8-13 from the field for an efficient 17 points in 18 minutes off the bench.
- Junior Kaci Kranson added 10 points and six boards, while classmate Kaeli Romanowski stuffed the stat sheet with eight points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists.
- Sophomores Meghan Lamanna and Natalie Stoupakis each hit a pair of threes for the Lady Royals.
