Kaci Kranson scored a game-high 29 points to lead The University of Scranton women's basketball team to a dominant 78-39 victory over Drew University on Wednesday night at Baldwin Gymnasium.

How it Happened
- The Lady Royals took an early 4-0 lead as graduate student Kyra Quigley made a layup and Kranson followed up with a pair of free throws.
- With Drew down just three points, Kranson drilled a three to put Scranton up 13-7 at the 1:41 mark in the first.
- The Rangers scored a layup late in the first to cut the lead to four.
- Scranton went on a 6-0 run to begin the second, including four points from Kranson.
- Drew answered with a 5-0 run to get within five at the 6:48 mark in the second, but Kranson connected from deep to end the run and put the Lady Royals ahead by eight.
- The Rangers got within five points (26-21) again at 3:22, but Scranton closed the first half with a 12-2 run to hold a 38-23 advantage at halftime. Sophomore Elizabeth Bennett hit a pair of threes to cap off the run.
- The Lady Royals kept things rolling to start the second half, scoring the opening eight points of the third to take a 46-23 lead.
- Bennett, sophomore Meghan Lamanna, and classmate Natalie Stoupakis hit three consecutives three-pointers for Scranton late in the third period to grow the lead to 34 points.
- The Lady Royals dominated the third, out scoring the Rangers 25-5 to hold a 63-28 lead with one quarter remaining.
- Scranton out scored Drew 15-11 in the fourth and went on to win by a final score of 78-39.
