Women's Soccer Cruises Past Lycoming, 2-0

WILLIAMSPORT, PA. – The University of Scranton women's soccer team remained unbeaten in conference play as they earned a 2-0 road win over Lycoming College on Tuesday evening.

How it Happened

  • After a scoreless first half, Scranton's offense broke through with under 12 minutes left in the game. Faith Sullivan took a shot on goal that was saved by the Lycoming keeper, but freshman Elise Nicholas was there to fire the rebound into the back of the net to give Scranton a 1-0 advantage.
  • With just 4:06 left in the game, the Royals added an insurance goal as Morgan Griffin laid a perfect pass into the box and junior Jenna Borelli scored to make it 2-0 Scranton.
