READING, Pa. – The University of Scranton wrestling team traveled to Albright College on Saturday where the Royals dropped a tough dual by a 35-15 final despite several strong individual performances.

How It Happened

• Scranton opened the night with momentum at 125 pounds, where Joseph Cappello delivered a convincing 17–6 major decision to put the Royals on the board early. Albright responded quickly and took control, picking up wins at 133, 141, and 157, along with several bonus-point victories through the middle and upper weights.
• The Royals added another strong performance at 149, where Aidan Veirun put together a dominant 25–10 tech fall to keep Scranton within reach.
• At heavyweight, Max Shnipes closed the dual in impressive fashion, pinning his opponent in just 41 seconds for Scranton's second win of the night.
