The University of Scranton men's basketball program is proud to announce the promotion of Jeff Frank to Associate Head Coach, effective immediately.
Frank enters his fourth season with the Royals in 2025-26, having quickly established himself as a vital part of the coaching staff. Over his first three seasons, he has mentored five All-Conference selections and guided sophomore Sammy Tornabene to Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year honors last season.Â
Frank made an immediate impact in his first season as Scranton posted a 21-8 record, captured the program's eighth Landmark Conference title, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament with a 65-64 victory over NC Wesleyan. That same season, Jackson Danzig became the 11th All-American in program history, while both Danzig and Will McLoughlin also earned All-Region honors.
"Jeff has been a valuable part of our staff since 2022, and I am excited to officially promote him to Associate Head Coach," said Head Coach Carl Danzig. "He has an incredible passion for the program, student-athlete development, and The University of Scranton."
The Royals open the 2025-26 season on Friday night against Lehman College at 5:30 p.m. in the opening game of the Hilton Scranton Invitational at the John Long Center.
