The University of Scranton men's track & field team competed at the DeSales Quad Meet and the Bison Outdoor Classic on Saturday.

DeSales Quad Meet - Top Performers

• Freshman Peter Sorbera won the long jump at 6.17m.
• Sophomore Joseph McGovern notched second in the discus at 39.86m.
• Sophomore Nicholas Franceschelli placed second in the javelin at 46.95m.
• Graduate student Shervin Mokhtari took second in the 400m hurdles at 1:00.65. 
• Sophomore Daniel Lanahan took third in the 1500m at 4:14.86.
• Senior Brendon Arcara finished third in the triple jump at 11.91m. 
• Freshmen Peter March and Cade Santos and Arcara finished first, second and third respectively in the 110m hurdles.
• March also notched a third place finish in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:01.81.
• Freshman Brayden Clarke and senior Liam Fahey earned second and third place respectively in the 5000m.
• Scranton won both 4x100 and 4x400 relays.

Bison Outdoor Classic - Results

• Senior Christian Snee finished 41st of 141 competitors in the 800m at 1:55.42.

• The Royals will return to competition on Tuesday, April 15 at the Misericordia Mid-Week in Dallas, Pa.
