ANNVILLE, PA -- The University of Scranton softball team dropped both games of a non-conference doubleheader at Lebanon Valley College on Wednesday.
The Basics
	- Records: Scranton (17-13, 6-6 Landmark), LVC (23-11, 11-1 MAC Freedom)
 
Game 1: LVC - 9, Scranton - 1
How it Happened
	- LVC took the lead in the bottom of the third as they scored three runs on five hits.
 
	- The Dutchmen tacked on four more runs on three hits in the bottom of the fourth to take an 7-0 lead.
 
	- Scranton scored its lone run of the game in the top of the fifth as sophomore Celia Totaro hit an RBI single that scored classmate Savannah Levine.
 
	- LVC scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the fifth to end the game by mercy rule, 9-1.
 
Top Performers
	- Senior Kylie Rochford went 2-3 at the plate.
 
	- Totaro batted 1-3 and drove in one run. 
 
Game 2: LVC - 7, Scranton - 2
How it Happened
	- The Royals opened up the scoring in game two with a double steal in the third inning as Rochford stole second and Totaro stole home.
 
	- Junior Meghan McDonnell hit an RBI single later in the top of the third that scored classmate Emmie Feltenberger and put Scranton up 2-0.
 
	- A solo home run from LVC in the bottom of the fourth inning cut Scranton's lead to one.
 
	- The Dutchmen tied the game up at 2-2 in the bottom of the fifth on a sacrifice bunt.
 
	- LVC had a strong sixth inning, scoring five runs on seven hits to take a 7-2 advantage and close out the scoring in the game.
 
Top Performers
	- Rochford and Feltenberger each notched two hits.
 
	- McDonnell recorded one RBI.
