SCRANTON - The University of Scranton Men's Soccer team remained unbeaten as they soundly defeated Penn State Abington, 3-0, at Weiss Field in non-conference action on Wednesday night at Weiss Field.

How it Happened

  • After his first shot was blocked, senior Tyler Colton scored on his second effort to put Scranton ahead 1-0 in the second minute of the contest.
  • Less than 15 minutes later, Colton struck for a second time, taking a pass from junior Alex Kozdron and finding the back of the net to make it 2-0 Royals.
  • With just under 18 minutes left in the game, junior Matt Capretto connected with Colton, who buried a shot from right in front of the keeper to complete his first career hat trick.
