Meikleham and Carr of No. 13 Women's Soccer Sweep Landmark Weekly Awards After Dominant Opening Weekend

Junior midfielder Jazzel Meikleham was named Offensive Athlete of the Week, and sophomore defender Aileen Carr earned Defensive Athlete of the Week after helping lead the Royals to two shutout wins on the road to open the 2025 season.

Meikleham was involved in three of Scranton's five goals over the weekend. She scored the lone goal in Friday's 1–0 win at Stockton, then delivered two corner kicks that led directly to goals in a 4–0 victory over Kean on Saturday.

Carr anchored a dominant defensive effort in both games. The Royals allowed just three shots on goal against Stockton, and followed that with an even stronger showing—limiting Kean to only two total shots and just one on target.

The Royals are back in action this weekend with a road contest at Vassar College on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 1:00 PM.
