WILKES BARRE, PA -- The University of Scranton women's golf team claimed first place in a quad match on Friday at Wyoming Valley Country Club, posting a team total of 370 to outpace Wilkes (388), Marywood (406), and Misericordia (414).

Cassandra Weir led the Royals with a 90, including a hole-out eagle on the par-4 16th. 

Rounding out Scranton's lineup:

The Royals return to action next Sunday, Sept. 28 against Misericordia University at Stone Hedge Golf Course.
