The University of Scranton women's golf team placed third at the Colonel Classic, held Monday afternoon at Wyoming Valley Country Club.

The Royals posted a team score of 387 (+103). East Stroudsburg captured the team title at (+51), and Wilkes took second with (+96). 

Alexandra Schaul paced Scranton with a second-place finish, shooting a career best 78 (+7). Emily Davis shot a round of 95 (+24), and Mara Bilenski followed right behind in 12th with a 97 (+26). Emily Biko rounded out the Royals' lineup, carding a 117 (+46) to take 21st.

Scranton returns to action Saturday, Oct. 10 for a dual match against Wilkes University at Stonehedge Golf Club.
