TOWSON, Md. -- The No. 2 ranked University of Scranton women's basketball team delivered a dominant performance on Friday night, rolling to a 93–46 Landmark Conference victory over Goucher College.

How it Happened
- The Lady Royals jumped out to a 5–0 lead behind strong defense and quick finishes at the rim. Goucher pulled within three at the 7:24 mark of the opening quarter, but Scranton responded with a 7–0 run to build a double-digit advantage and carried an 11-point lead into the end of the first period.
- Scranton took full control in the second quarter, outscoring the Gophers 32–6 to take a commanding 51–14 lead into halftime. Senior Kaeli Romanowski and junior Elizabeth Bennett each knocked down a pair of three-pointers in the period to spark the decisive run.
- The Lady Royals remained hot from long range to open the second half, as junior Katie Gorski buried a triple in the opening minute. Scranton added four more three-pointers in the third quarter, while senior Kaci Kranson attacked the basket and converted at the free-throw line to extend the lead to 78–24 heading into the final period. Sophomore Marisa Francione capped the quarter with a buzzer-beating three.
- Freshman Gabriella Murphy knocked down three three-pointers in the final quarter as Scranton closed out a dominant 93–46 victory over the Gophers.
