SCRANTON, Pa. - The No. 2 ranked University of Scranton women's basketball team extended its unbeaten streak with a 76-35 victory over Drew University in Landmark Conference action at the John Long Center on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened
- Both teams traded baskets in the opening minutes before Scranton pulled ahead late in the first quarter. Holding a slim 10–9 edge with just over three minutes remaining, the Lady Royals closed the period on a 7–0 run to take a 16–9 lead into the second.
- Scranton continued to build momentum in the second quarter, stretching the lead to 15 as senior Kaci Kranson and junior Elizabeth Bennett each connected from beyond the arc. Junior Katie Gorski provided a spark down the stretch, scoring seven points in the final five minutes of the half to send the Lady Royals into the break with a 40–20 advantage.
- The Lady Royals opened the second half in dominant fashion, as Kranson and Gorski combined for 13 consecutive points to push the lead to 33. Scranton capped the third quarter with a 6–0 run and carried a commanding 36-point lead into the final period.
- Scranton continued to add on in the fourth quarter, with Bennett scoring five straight points to keep the pressure on. Freshman Gabriella Murphy knocked down a three-pointer late, and the Lady Royals closed out a decisive 76–35 victory over the Rangers.
