How It Happened
- After Scranton's defense fended off a Moravian penalty corner, Maggie Keys connected with Shana Goldsmith to clear the ball out of danger. Goldsmith then passed to Keys near midfield before receiving a return pass and sending a cross toward the center of the circle. Keys tipped the ball into the cage to give the Royals a 1-0 lead just 4:10 into the contest.
- Less than a minute later, freshman Ava Matthias sent a ball into the circle, where Goldsmith handled a high hop and directed it into the cage to extend Scranton's lead to 2-0.
- With less than 1:30 remaining in the first quarter, the Royals struck again. Goldsmith sent a ball toward the circle from the outer edge of the key, and Julia Opperman deflected it into the cage to push the lead to 3-0.
- Scranton added one more goal before halftime to take a 4-0 advantage into the break. Following a save on Olivia Burdo's initial shot during a penalty corner, Goldsmith collected the rebound and connected with Matthias, who fired a shot over the Greyhounds' goalkeeper and into the cage for her first career goal.
- After neither team scored in the third quarter, the Royals struck again just two minutes into the fourth. Olivia Dougherty carried the ball from the 25-yard line into the circle and fired a shot into the cage to extend Scranton's lead to 5-0.
- With just 2:40 remaining, Courtney Devers carried the ball into the circle and sent a pass toward Goldsmith, who flicked the ball into the cage for her second goal of the night to make it 6-0.
