University of Scranton women's volleyball senior Cammi Quirk has been named the Peggy's Scranton Athlete of the Week.

Quirk earned the honors after achieving the career milestone of 3,000 assists, recording 44 assists in the Royals' win over Eastern. The senior setter recorded 125 assists and 40 digs over the three-game weekend. Quirk has become the fifth Royal to record 3,000 assists and currently has 786 assists on the season. 

The Royals defeated Eastern and Clarkson over the weekend, both with a score of 3-2. The wins improved Scranton's record to 14-9.
Quirk and the Royals resume conference play on Friday, October 23, at 7 PM against Goucher in the John Long Center.
