SCRANTON, Pa. – The No. 2 ranked University of Scranton women's basketball team defeated Elizabethtown College in the Landmark Conference Championship by a score of 82-42 Saturday afternoon at the John Long Center.

- The Lady Royals controlled the first half of the game by setting the tone with strong finishes from Katie Gorski and Kaci Kranson, while Elizabeth Bennett sparked the run with a layup and deep three to stretch the lead.
- Sophia Talutto and Meghan Lamanna added key floaters, Bennett chipped in a rebound putback, and Kranson closes the quarter with another strong finish to make it 21-12.
- In the second quarter, Gorski controlled both ends with a block and multiple finishes in the paint. Talutto hit a three while Bennett recoded a block and another layup. The Lady Royals held a 36-19 advantage at the half.
- The Lady Royals had a dominate third quarter, outscoring the Blue Jays 26-12. Kranson sparked a huge run with transition layups and an and-one, helping extend the lead.
