The Basics

How it Happened

  • Both teams exchanged early baskets to start the contest, with the score tied at 6-6 midway through the opening quarter. Moravian held a slim 10-9 advantage with just over four minutes remaining in the period before the Lady Royals took control with an 11-0 run to close the quarter and grab a 20-10 lead heading into the second. Kaci Kranson scored five points during the run to spark the surge.
  • The Greyhounds trimmed the deficit to single digits early in the second quarter, but Scranton responded decisively.
