The University of Scranton women's golf team earned a 17-stroke victory over Wilkes University on Sunday at Stone Hedge Golf Course, finishing with a team score of 376 to Wilkes' 393.

Lidia Marranca led the way for the Royals with a team-best round of 87, finishing just one stroke off the top individual score. Mara Bilenski followed with a 94, while Julia Downing carded a 97 and Cassandra Weir added a 98 to round out the scoring four. Emily Murphy also competed and shot a 110.

The Royals used a balanced team effort to pull away and secure the win.

Scranton returns to action tomorrow back at Stone Hedge Golf Course for a tri-match against King's College and Marywood University.
