The University of Scranton baseball team fell to Moravian University, 3-1, on Tuesday afternoon at Gillespie Field in Bethlehem, Pa.

How it Happened
- Scranton got on the board in the opening inning to take an early 1-0 lead. Conor Campbell reached on an error and advanced into scoring position on a ground out by Logan Mason before coming home on an RBI single from Joey Granko to give the Royals the advantage.
- Moravian answered in the bottom of the third, plating three runs and taking its first lead of the game. The Greyhounds loaded the bases against John DeStefano in the frame and scored three unearned runs on a two-out RBI triple by Luke Keitsock to put the Greyhounds ahead 3-1.
- DeStefano responded with two scoreless frames following the three-run third inning to complete five strong innings with three strikeouts. Kieran Lodewick followed in relief, entering in the sixth and tossing three scoreless innings to keep the Royals in the game. Although Scranton recorded nine hits on the afternoon, they were unable to push across any additional runs as the Royals fell, 3-1.
