Game One

How it Happened

  • Moravian opened the scoring in the first inning, using a two-out double to take a 1-0 lead.
  • The Greyhounds added to their lead in the third inning with an RBI single that made it 2-0.
  • The Royals responded in the fourth, as Daniela Brescia delivered an RBI double that scored Celia Totaro and Gianna Muliero to tie the game at 2-2. Later in the inning, Scranton took a 3-2 lead after a single up the middle by Madison Byrwa scored Emily Riehl.
  • Moravian answered in the fifth inning, scoring a run to even the game once again.
  • The Royals mounted a key rally in the fifth to retake the lead. Muliero singled to left field to drive home Mollie Ferreira, and Emmie Feletnberger followed with an RBI ground out that scored Totaro and gave Scranton a 5-3 advantage.
  • The Greyhounds made a late push with a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning, but it wasn't enough as Emma Douglas finished the complete game without allowing any further runs, leading the Royals to a 5-4 victory.
Game Two How it Happened

  • Moravian ripped back-to-back triples that plated two more runs as Moravian stretched its lead to 7-2.
  • The Greyhounds kept the Royals scoreless the rest of the way while adding three more runs in the seventh to secure the 10-2 win.
