Scranton Men's Lacrosse Earns Dominant 19-6 Win Against Susquehanna

  • Records: Scranton (10-6, 8-0 Landmark), Susquehanna (7-9, 4-4 Landmark)

How It Happened

  • Susquehanna struck first, but Scranton answered quickly as Quinn Carson scored back-to-back goals to even the score and give the Royals the lead. After the River Hawks tied the game at 3-3 midway through the opening quarter, Scranton took over with a four-goal run to close the frame. Goals from Tommy Tremarco, Myles McCutcheon, Cooper Roberts, and Brendan Donohue gave the Royals a 7-3 advantage after one.
  • The Royals carried that momentum into the second quarter. Chase Ritcey opened the frame with an extra-man goal before Donohue added his second of the afternoon. David Dubas then caught fire, scoring three times in the period as Scranton extended its lead to 13-4 at the half.
  • Scranton continued to pull away in the third quarter, outscoring Susquehanna 4-1. Carson scored twice in the period, while McCutcheon and Ritcey each converted on extra-man opportunities to push the lead to 17-5.
  • In the fourth quarter, Colin Giarrusso scored his first goal of the game before Ritcey capped the scoring with his third of the afternoon, sealing the 19-6 win.
