Scranton Men's Lacrosse Rolls Past Moravian, 20-6, to Stay Unbeaten in Landmark Play

The University of Scranton men's lacrosse team continued its strong run in Landmark Conference play with a commanding 20-6 road victory over Moravian University on Wednesday evening at John Makuvek Field in Bethlehem.

How It Happened

  • Scranton jumped out to a fast start, scoring four of the game's first goals and building a 7-3 lead by the end of the first quarter. Jason Kozak and Quinn Carson each scored a pair, while Kyle Holmes, Brian Kraemer, and Sean Monghan all found the back of the net in the opening frame. 
  • The Royals continued to control the pace in the second quarter, adding three goals to take a 10-4 lead into halftime. Kraemer connected on a pair of goals during the stretch to keep momentum on Scranton's side.
  • In the third quarter, Scranton pulled away by outscoring Moravian 5-1. Goals from Chase Ritcey, Holmes, Carson, and Kozak highlighted the period as the Royals extended their lead to 15-5.
  • Scranton closed out the game with a strong fourth quarter, netting five more goals. Carson and Holmes each added to their totals, while Kraemer and Cooper Roberts also contributed as the Royals secured the 20-6 victory.
