The University of Scranton women's golf team placed second of five teams at the Misericordia Invite at Wilkes Barre Golf Club on Saturday, finishing at +106 to open the 2026-27 season. Lock Haven University took first place, while the Royals topped Misericordia, Wilkes and King's.

Alexandra Schaul led Scranton with an 85 (+13) that included a birdie on the par-five fifth hole, good for T-3 individually. Emily Davis finished just behind in fifth at 86 (+14) and also birdied the fifth. Mara Bilenski carded a 91 (+19) to take sixth, while Emily Biko shot a 110 (+38) and Riley Ritterbusch rounded out the lineup with a 113 (+41).

The Royals return to action next Saturday, Sept. 26, at Susquehanna University.
