The University of Scranton women's soccer team scored twice in the opening 10 minutes and held on for a 3-1 win over Misericordia University Wednesday night at Weiss Field in Scranton.

How It Happened
- Jenna Borelli opened the scoring in the 7th minute, stealing the ball from Misericordia's back line and ripping a shot from the top of the 18-yard box into the bottom left corner of the net for her second goal of the season.
- Faith Sullivan doubled the lead just minutes later, running onto a ball served in from the right side by Addison Van Lenten and knocking it past the goalkeeper with her right foot for her first goal of the year.
- Misericordia got on the board in the 39th minute when Caelan Gallagher found the net to cut the deficit to 2-1.
- Natalia Dobush restored Scranton's two-goal cushion in the 68th minute, heading home a corner kick served by Alexis Ocasio into the left side of the net for her fourth goal of the year. It marked the latest connection this season for the duo on a corner kick.
