How It Happened
- Vassar came out fast, firing three shots in the opening three minutes before breaking through at 6:37 when Anna Arban finished off a pass from Elena Valle to make it 1-0.
- The Brewers doubled their lead late in the first half, as Alice Crowley converted an assist from Caroline Sheehan with just over five minutes remaining before the break.
- Scranton goalkeeper Makenzie Van Arsdale kept the deficit from growing further, turning aside four shots in the first half alone.
- Vassar closed out the scoring in the 83rd minute when Sheehan set up Maddie Harmon for the Brewers' third goal of the afternoon, sealing the 3-0 final.
