The University of Scranton Athletic Communications Job Opportunities
The University of Scranton Athletic Communications office offers students the opportunity to work in Athletics through Federal Work Study and University Work Study (Institutional Employment). These positions allow students to pursue areas of personal interest, including opportunities aligned with career goals in communications, media, and sports administration. Specific knowledge of athletics is not required for all positions.
Most positions are run through the Federal Work Study program; however, students without an FWS award may still be employed through University Work Study. Work opportunities are the same for both programs. A student’s award is paid in the form of a bi-monthly payroll check for time/hours worked. The awarded amount serves as a budget, as students are paid only for hours worked and are not guaranteed to receive the full award amount.
