Freshman Year (2015)

  • Played in 17 games in her first season in the program, starting three matches in the midfield.
  • Scored her first career goal against King's on Sept. 13, as Scranton went on to collect a 3-1 win on the road.
  • Added her second goal against Albright on Oct. 6. The score was the go-ahead goal in a 2-0 victory for the Royals.
  • Recorded two assists (one against Misericordia on Sept. 16 and another at Moravian on Oct. 25) to push her point total for the year to six.
  • Scored two goals on three shots. Both shots she took on goal were goals.

High School/Personal

  • Earned three varsity letters in field hock at Springfield Township High School. Also played the sport year-round for the Philly Hockey Club.
  • Was a Suburban One All-League selection in both 2013 and 2014. Served as team captain in her senior season of 2014.
  • Helped Springfield Township capture the Bicentennial Athletic League Championship in 2011, as the team went undefeated.
  • Also helped Philly Hockey Club win National Indoor Tournament Pool title in 2015.
  • Was selected to the National Field Hockey Academic Team in 2014. Also earned Scholar Athlete honors after Junior and Senior seasons.
  • Served as Springfield Township's Class of 2015 President all four years of high school.
  • Was a member of the National Honors Society and German National Honors Society, earned Highest honor roll all four years of high school and received the AP Scholar Award.
  • Earned the Comcast Leaders and Achievers Award, and STHS Alumni Leadership Award.
  • Daughter of Bill and Melanie McVeagh.
  • Her father is a graduate of Catholic University and her mom graduated from both Shippensburg University and Arcadia University.
  • Has two siblings - Igor and Sasha.
  • Brother Igor attends Slippery Rock University, where he plays on the men's soccer team.
