Setteducato joined the Scranton program after a long stay at Wilkes University in nearby Wilkes-Barre, where he was both a student-athlete and assistant coach in the Colonels program.

As an assistant coach at Wilkes for the past two seasons (2020-2021), Setteducato was both the teams defensive coordinator and face-off coach, while assisting in all aspects of the Colonels' program.

In 2021, Wilkes qualified for the MAC playoffs, as Setteducato went on to earn an MBA from Wilkes University this past May. While completing his graduate studies, he was also a member of Wilkes' Graduate Studies Committee.

During his undergraduate years at Wilkes, Setteducato was a four-year letterwinner on the Colonels' men's lacrosse team, serving as team captain in his junior and senior seasons.

A defender, Setteducato played in 59 games in his career, making 38 starts. He collected 79 career ground balls and got in on the act offensively, scoring two career goals, while adding an assist. A recipient of the MAC Sportsmanship Award in 2019, Setteducato was also an active participant in Wilkes' Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, eventually serving as its Vice President.

Setteducato is a native of Lake Hopatcong, N.J., and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Wilkes in Accounting & Finance, with a minor in Business Management in May 2019.
