High School/Personal

• Prepped at North Rockland H.S. where he played lacrosse and ice hockey
• Two-time league champion in lacrosse (2015, 2017)
• Also won a county championship in lacrosse in 2015
• Won a section title in 2018 for hockey
• Three-time All-League honoree in both lacrosse and hockey
• Was also a two-time All-League and two-time All-County selection
• Totaled 249 career points on 130 goals and 119 assists
• Member of National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, and Science Honor Society
• Is the son of Steve and Noreen Apicella. His father is a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinus while his mother graduated from Mercy where she played basketball.
• Has two older brothers, Nick and Chris.  Chris plays football at Marist.
