Biography

Four-year letter-winner... Dedicated, hard-working runner whose last two seasons were cut short by injuries... Two-time all-Landmark Conference selection and three-time Landmark Academic Honor Roll recipient.

Senior Year (2012):  Was limited to just two races--the Vassar and Jack Daniels (Cortland St.) invitationals--because of an injury...placed 28th in 20:35.56 over a 5000-meter course at the Vassar Invitational on September 8... Two weeks later, finished 52nd in 16:28.80 over a 4000-meter course at the Jack Daniels Invitational.

Junior Year (2011):  An injury limited her to only two races… Still managed to be the first Royal harrier across the finish line in both of those races, placing 19th in a time of 20:22.64 over a 5000-meter course at the Dutchmen Invitational hosted by Lebanon Valley College at the Union Canal Tunnel Park on Sept. 10 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and a 50th-place finish in 24:31 over a 6000-meter course at the NCAA Mideast regional on Nov. 12 at DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania.

Sophomore Year (2010):  Followed up an outstanding first year by taking over the number one spot in the Royal lineup... Earned all-Landmark Conference first-team honors for the second straight season with a fourth-place finish in a career-best time of 23:43.80 afor 6000 meters at the conference championship meet on October 30 at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland... Joined senior Maria Cifone as the only runner on the roster to appear in all six meets... Also eclipsed the 24-minute barrier for 6000 meters by finishing 96th in 23:47.1 in an outstanding field of Division I, II and III runners at the highly regarded Spiked Shoe Invitational at Penn State University on September 11... Also turned in a solid performance at the DeSales Invitational on October 9, covering the 6000-meter course in 24:21.32 to finish 14th in the 198-runner field, eclipsing her time by nearly a minute from her performance there a year ago.

Freshman Year (2009):  Was named the Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year and a first-team selection after placing seventh in a time of 25:11 over a 6000-meter course to help the Royals win their first-ever conference title and end Susquehanna's two-year reign as champions at the conference championship meet at the United States Soldiers and Airmans Home in Washington, D.C., on October 31... Ended the season on a positive note with an 88th-place finish in a personal-best time of 24:11.2 as Scranton placed 10th in the 44-team field at the NCAA Mideast regional at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on November 14... Missed the first two meets of the season recuperating from an injury... In her first college meet, finished 33rd in a time of 21:10 over a 5000-meter course at the Cougar Classic (Misericordia University) on September 19... Showed signs of her tremendous potential when she was the third Royal harrier across the finish line (and 23rd overall) in a time of 25:04 for 6000 meters at the DeSales Invitational on October 10.
