Biography
Four-year letter-winner... Spent a majority of her career building up her long-distance training base, but her development was been sidetracked by injuries, limiting her two races over the past two seasons... Three-time Landmark Conference championship participant... Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll recipient (2012)... Her father, Carlos, played soccer for Scranton for four years (1989-1992).
Senior Year (2012): Managed to overcome an injury and compete in the Landmark Conference championships for the third time in her career, finishing 46th in 27:20.50 for 6000 meters at Fort Roberdeau State Park in Blair County, Pennsylvania, on October 27, in her only race of the season.
Junior Year (2011): Saw action in only one meet because of an injury… In her only race, covered a 4000-meter course in a time of 17:30.20 at the Northeast Pennsylvania Classic hosted by King’s College at the Hollenbeck Golf Course in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 1.
Sophomore Year (2010): Competed in two meets due to injuries... Finished 175th in a time of 27:58.3 over a 6000-meter course at the Spiked Shoe Invitational at Penn State University on September 11... Also placed 61st in 28:25 on a 6000-meter course at the Landmark Conference championships at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland, on October 30.
Freshman Year (2009): Competed in four meets... Picked up valuable experience by competing in the Landmark Conference championships, where she placed 41st in a time of 28:15 for 6000 meters at the United States Soldiers and Airmans Home in Washington, DC, on October 31... Also placed 28th in a time of 17:24 over a 4000-meter course at the Northeast Pennsylvania Classic (King's College) on September 4.
