Biography

Four-year letter-winner... Competed in 20 events in her career... Three-time Landmark Conference championship (2009, 2010, 2012) and NCAA Mideast regional participant (2011)... Her older sister, Liz, was a four-year letter-winner on the Royals' women's cross-country team (2003-2006).

Senior Year (2012):  Competed in six of seven meets... Placed 41st in 27:03.20 over a 6000-meter course at the Landmark Conference championships staged at Fort Roberdeau State Park in Blair County, Pennsylvania, on October 27... Ran a season-best time of 26:31 for 6000 meters at the Princeton Invitational on October 13... Was the fourth Scranton harrier across the finish line at the season-opening Marywood Invitational, covering the 4000-meter course in 18:27 to finish 20th overall on September 1 at McDade Park in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Junior Year (2011):  Missed the final four meets of the season due to an injury…opened the season on a positive note, finishing 11th in a time of 16:17.70 over a 4000-meter course at the Northeast Pennsylvania Classic hosted by King’s College at the Hollenbeck Golf Course in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 1… In her final race of the year, was the third Royal harrier across the finish line and 31st overall in a time of 16:29.60 on a 4000-meter course at the Jack Daniels Invitational in Cortland, New York, on Sept. 24.

Sophomore Year (2010): Arguably, the Royals' most improved runner... Broke the 26-minute barrier for 6000 meters three times a year after her best time in the distance was 26:59.45:  ran 25:43.3 at the Spiked Shoe Invitational at Penn State University on September 11; two weeks later, was the third Royal harrier across the finish line in a career-best time of 25:06 at the Purple Valley Classic (Williams College) on September 25; and played a key role in Scranton's runner-up finish at the Landmark Conference championships at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland, on October 30 with a 21st-place finish in 25:14.20.

Freshman Year (2009):  Competed in six of seven meets... Finished 52nd in a time of 29:00 over a 6000-meter course at the Landmark Conference championships at the United States Soldiers and Airmans Home in Washington, DC, on Oct. 31... In her first college meet, placed 12th in a time of 13:59 over a 3000-meter course in a non-team scoring event against Marywood University on Sept. 1... Also picked up valuable experience by competing in the Northeast Pennsylvania Classic on September 4, Cougar Classic (Misericordia University) on September 19, Leeber Invitational (Fairlfield University) on September 26, and the DeSales Invitational on October 10.
