• Earned letters in volleyball at Eastport South Manor High School, where she earned All-League honors
• The team went undefeated and won the league championship in her senior season
• Also served as the team's captain during her senior campaign
• The daughter of Doreen and Glenn Nason
• Is one of six children in her family
