- Prepped at Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, Pa., where she lettered in both soccer and basketball
- Helped the soccer team win the District 1 Championship in 2016 and advance all the way to the PIAA AAAA State Championship match in 2017
- Three-time All-League selection, earning First Team honors in 2019, Second Team in 2018, and Third Team in 2017
- Was an All-Area Second Team selection after 2019 season, as well
- Is the daughter of Peter & Penny Tantala
- Mother was a former student athlete at both C.W. Post & Syracuse, where she played tennis
- Has an older brother, AJ
- Grandfather Rich Cornwall played professional basketball overseas in Europe and also played for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Apollos
