2017-18 Women's Swimming and Diving
Biography
- Enjoyed an outstanding four-year career for the Royals in which she won four indvidual Landmark Conference Championships
- Set two individual school records and swam a leg for three relay teams that also set program records
- Earned five All-Landmark Conference honors including four First Team selections and was the 2015 Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year
Senior Season (2017-18)
- Battled through injury to compete in six meets and post a fifth place finish in the 50 freestyle at the Landmark Conference Championships
- Won four events on the season, winning both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle twice
- Won both events against Catholic on October 27
- Finished in the top-five of all eight events in which she competed on the year with six top-three results
Junior Season (2016-17)
- Won two individual events and two relay events at the 2017 Landmark Conference Championships, earning first team honors in each event
- Defended her titles in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle, taking both events with times of 24.20 and 52.22
- Swam anchor on both relay teams that won conference titles: the 200-freestyle and 400-freestyle relays
- 400-free relay team broke the school/Landmark Conference Championship record in the event, hitting the wall in 3:34.74
- 200-free relay (1:38.15) and 400-medley relay (4:01.23) teams also broke program records during the Landmark Conference Championships
- Swam in all eight dual meets the Royals took part in during the regular season, winning at least one event individually in each meet; was a two-time winner four times throughout the year
Sophomore Season (2015-16)
- Picked up where she left off from the start in her sophomore year, swimming butterfly and short distance freestyle for the Royals
- Was a driving force behind the Royals going 9-2 in dual meets on the year, winning an individual event in seven of the eight meets she took part in
- Had her most success in the 50-freestyle, winning the event six times throughout the course of the year
- Was just as successful swimming a leg on Scranton's two relay teams, as the 200-medley and 400-freestyle team swept the events in six meets
Freshman Season (2014-2015)
- Was named the Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year after putting on a dominating performance at the league's championship meet in Feb., winning the 50 (:24.06) and 100 free (:52.22) and finishing second in the 100 fly (:59.53)
- Her times in the finals of the 50 and 100 free established new Scranton records
- Swam the opening leg on the fourth-place finishing 400 medley relay that established a new Royal record in 4:01.73
- Also swam the anchor legs on the 200 and 400 free relay teams that set new Scranton records in 1:38.42 and 3:38.41, respectively; the 200 free relay placed second the 400 free finished third
- Earned first-team All-Landmark honors for her performances in the 50 and 100 free and second team for her efforts in the 100 fly and the 200 free relay at the conference meet
- Completed in all 10 dual meets and recorded 16 first-place and three runner-up finishes
- Won the 100 free (:54.02) and 100 back (:54.02) against Catholic University on Jan. 11, a performance that earned her the Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week award
