Sophomore Season (2019-20)

  • Wrestled 12 bouts at 184 pounds, winning three times throughout the course of the year
  • Won his first two matches by pinfall during the season and picked up another victory via decision at the Will Abele Invitational (Jan. 18)

Freshman Season (2018-19)

  • Went winless in five matches during his first season at Scranton, wrestling at 165 pounds in all five bouts.

High School/Personal

  • Prepped at Wayne Valley H.S. where he earned nine varsity letters with four in wrestling, three in track, and two in football
  • Two-time district champion
  • Was named Second Team All-League and Second Team All-County
  • Lead team to a 19-5 record
  • Son of Aboud and Lana Baghal. His father graduated from NYU.
  • Also has two younger siblings, Diaa and Yamin
