Senior Year (2021-22)

  • Competed in 16 bouts for the Royals at 197 pounds and posted four victories
  • Notched a pair of wins at the Mid-Winter Classic on Jan. 15

Sophomore Year (2019-20)

  • Was 5-4 in his second season in the program, with three of those victories coming via pinfall
  • Fastest victory via pinfall was posted on Nov. 2 vs. Daniel Brothers of Alfred State in 1:20

Freshman Year (2018-19)

  • Won four matches in his rookie season at Scranton, wrestling at 285 pounds
  • All four wins came by decision, with his first collegiate victory an 8-4 decision over York's Nick Carpenter on Nov. 3

  • Is the son of John and Nancy Murphy. His father graduated from Stetson while his mother attended Kean and Seton Hall
  • Has two siblings, Leah and John. Leah is a member of the rugby team at Wesleyan while John is also a member of The University of Scranton wrestling team
